About usF.J Bowers & Co is situated in the Farnworth area of North Widnes, close to the railway station and is readily accessible from all areas, i.e M.62, St Helens, Warrington, Widnes link road, Runcorn/Widnes Bridge and the premises has ample off-the-road parking for staff and clients. The business was formed in 1984 by John Bowers from the original premises in Birchfield Road, Widnes, moving to its present address in 1989.
Yvonne Rice and Sheila Bowers became partners in 1993, all of the partners having 30 years experience in the profession. We deal with clients covering a large area, Liverpool, St Helens, Warrington, Runcorn, Frodsham, Chester, as well as Widnes itself and also have clients who have "stayed with us", even though they have moved out of the area, i.e. Scotland, Lincolnshire etc. We pride ourselves on our relationships with all our clients and it is our aim to make them feel at ease and not to associate a visit to their accountants on a par with a visit to the dentist! Each client is dealt with by one of the partners personally and we are available to assist them with all of their business or taxation requirements or problems, no matter how small, throughout the whole year, and not just when the annual accounts and tax returns need to be prepared.
